Weed Man Lawn Care

Weed Man is the worst weed control company I have ever worked with. If I could give 0 stars I would. They ignored my no soliciting sign. We had a lot of weeds though so I allowed the visit and signed up for their services. They said by prepaying for the season I would get a discount so I gave them my card info and they failed to run it for over a month. By the time they say they ran it the card had expired and I already had a new one. It should never take over a month to run a payment. Because of their failure to run a payment I got billed more than agreed and received notice that they were going to send me to collections. They did the first treatment and the weeds wilted but never died. I asked them to come back out and they said they couldn’t because temperatures were over 90 degrees.

Don’t be like me and trust weedman more than once. In 2021 one of their techs got caught on my cameras lying about doing a service he never did. This year I paid $500 (march 9th 2024) upfront for 2024 services. They only completed the first fertilization and even that hasn’t shown any results. After the first week of April 2024 I asked when they would be doing the first weed treatment as the dandelions started coming in heavy. They let me know that they wouldn’t be getting to it until atleast the first week of May (they said it’s been too cold but my neighbors had theirs treated by Senke the second week of March and they look great) and I voiced concerns about that then. I used Weedman for lawn service in 2024. I paid them in full for the services they provided. Now I am receiving calls from a collection agency saying I have an outstanding bill for $300 + . I reached out to them and they refused to help me resolve the bill. I will never use them again as a lawn service.

I paid for weed control for multiple years but the weeds never fully died off, just wilted and came back. It became too much of a hassle to call them back to take care of the weeds, so I cancelled service. Mark the head tech visited my property this spring and convinced me to add fertilizer services in addition to weed control and that would allow them to have more visits to the property and see the weed issues and be able to better control the weeds. They performed 1 weed control and 1 fertilizer application in the spring. The weeds were still there all spring and early summer.
