Westbrass

I purchased & installed a Westbrass hot water dispenser that developed an annoying spout leak at 20 months. Was unable to find the appropriate parts for repair on their website, so foolishly bought a whole new Westbrass tap to replace it. (Heater/tank had no problems.). Now after about 2 years, the replacement tap has developed the exact same leak issue. After 3 weeks of emails & calls to Westbrass, I am still unable to obtain replacement parts to fix the leak. Responsiveness of Westbrass Support has been pathetic, and as a insignificant user, I do not expect it to improve... Guess I will have to find another vendor from which to replace the tank as well as the tap.

The item I received was beautiful but unable to install because the part that attaches to the toilet tank is not included. My plumber told me to call the company and see if they might be able to suggest what part I need to complete the install and the customer service rep said that I need to look on their website, so I said I did and I needed help being able to locate the part that goes with this kit, which doesn’t supply a crucial part. She cut me off and said you need to look on the website and hung up on me. I couldn’t even believe what I heard. So I called back, got the same person and she wouldn’t allow me to speak to anyone else. I’m actually speechless. I was willing to try and find the part else-ware but because of how rude that customer service rep was, I’ll be returning the item

BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND IT; THEIR WARRANTY IS WORTHLESS. I purchased an under the counter hot water dispenser through Amazon and had a plumber install it. The product worked fine for over a month until one morning I went into the kitchen to find it blowing steam. The plumber came back out and reset it (twice) but a few days later it happened again. By this time I was past Amazon's return period so I contacted Westbrass direct. Without any proof (no photos, and they did not have me send it in to them for inspection) they simply decided that my product was installed wrong. So I had a second plumber come out and look at it and when he said the installation was fine, we took some photos and I submitted them to Westbrass with a request

Buyer Beware. Faucet failed within 7 months of install. Tried to file a warranty claim. Gave me lip service and said they would send out a warranty replacement in avfew days. They never did. Followed up via email and phone repeatedly. Refused to return phone calls or email. Reached out to Home Depot to file claim, and they said too bad!

As a plumbing contractor, I would not purchase anything from WestBrass- Us plumbers call it WorstBrass... Products fail to deliver; especially the integrated overflow/tub drain- what a joke! Those will 100% leak within a year. Yet, Pirch and other large suppliers continue to push this on customers. Don't even try to call tech support, they're no help. Just stay away.
