Western Mechanical

Western Mechanical converted a swap cooler to Refrigerated Air. We started the furnace to warm the home and the furnace would not turn off. The house eventually reached 90 degrees. I called their “24/7 Emergency Services” number at 11pm and told me a technician would arrive. The technician NEVER arrived. That lead me to call another HVAC company to help. I called Western Mechanical the next day and they told me because I called another company to help that they would void our warranty and would not help, even though the other HVAC company never touched the unit, they only refilled the coolant. Western Mechanical is blaming us for voiding our warranty because they failed to send a technician to help. Please go through another HVAC company. Perhaps a company that cares about their customers.

All I know is they replaced boiler on building where I live. It has never worked correctly. Boiler keeps shutting off leaving us with no hot water and no heat. They have been here countless times, still unable to resolve the problem. Been dealing with this going on 19 months. P.S. You guys suck.

The HVAC unit on my small commercial building needed to be replaced so I called 3 companies to get an estimate for a new unit. I chose to deal only with companies who would provide a free estimate. I arranged for an estimate from Western Mechanical and was told nothing about a fee, or I wouldn’t have had them come out. It took over a week to get an appointment. Then on the appointed day, the tech called looking for my location in Rio Rancho where he was sent by their dispatch, even though my building is in downtown Albuquerque. It was another week before they rescheduled at the correct location, and when they did, instead of the requested estimate the tech did a hasty unauthorized repair on my unit and charged me $198.49. Since no fees or repairs were authorized, I made multiple calls to

9/3/2023 We called Monday night wasn't seen until Friday and the swamp cooler is still not working I was told it was ready and would last through the rest of the season. Called yesterday and still waiting. ... 9/2022(Wonderful company. Called when it was time to make an appointment without me having to remember. Joshua was extremely friendly and was enjoyable to talk to you and did a fabulous job. If he wasn't sure on something ie renewing he would say I will get right back to you that afternoon. Sure enough!! Also Amanda was extremely nice on the phone and kept me updated and my paper work. Very professional. 3years ago) I do not like that I cannot at least leave a message after hours/weekend. This is not good especially if it is an emergency.

I highly recommend this company for HVAC repair/maintenance. I was given a recommendation from a friend who uses them in Socorro, I’m in San Acacia and it’s not easy to find a company that comes out here or anyone to even call you back around here. I received excellent customer service when I called to schedule, the service date was within a week of my call. Victor the technician was on time, called me to let me know he was near, he was prompt professional, skilled, knowledgeable and most of all very personable. I am extremely pleased with Victor, the service and communication he provided, and best of all was the cost- very affordable!
