I lived at Westland on Barrington for 7 years and truly enjoyed my time there. The staff is very friendly and the community is simply wonderful. Absolutely beautiful courtyard to spend time at outside in the sun with the sound of the fountain in the background while you lounge or work on your laptop. Maintenance is always quick to respond to requests, usually the same day. Thank you so much to Harriet in the office. She really made my move out a piece of cake and everyone in the office is so pleasant. I highly recommend this property!!

AVOID WESTLAND AT ALL COSTS! Renting a 2 bed/2 bath apartment from Westland was the worst decision I’ve ever made. Here’s why no one should ever consider leasing from them: Shady Billing Practices: They forced tenants to share utilities, but the bills were NEVER transparent. I had no idea how they calculated what I owed, and they tried to charge us for utilities when the bill had credits on them. It felt like they were inflating costs to squeeze more money out of tenants. Greedy Rent Increases: When I asked to go month-to-month after my lease was up, they hiked my rent by an outrageous amount. I rented a 2BR/1BA there for 5 years, and enjoyed my time there. I never had any issues with management – they were always very polite and responsive to any requests I made. They changed out a ceiling fan to a regular lamp and then eventually back to a ceiling fan again, they moved me to a better garage location because of the size of my car, they took care of plumbing issues quickly, the list goes on. The location is great, and the neighborhood is quiet. It's a nice place to live.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Westland Dev Group! Their team is truly exceptional, from the office staff to the maintenance crew. They were consistently attentive and proactive in addressing any issues that arose promptly. It's evident that they genuinely care about the property, as the maintenance crew consistently updates and upkeeps the grounds.

The entire Westland Management company have been such a pleasure to work with in the 3 years my wife and I lived in their unit. They were prompt with any communication, extremely professional, and accommodating with most asks. The unit itself was really gorgeous that let a lot of light throughout the apartment at all times. We’re going to miss this place!
