On a recommendation, we chose Westwood Flooring to refinish our entire 1st and 2nd floor hardwood floors as well as multiple staircases in our home from a very dark, worn out finish to a brighter finish. It was a very large job and quite intricate with many non uniform rooms. The results are phenomenal! Teo and Val led the project, they each possess decades of experience in their field and it shows. They worked long days with great care and expertise, our previously worn out floor now looks brand new with a wonderful, uniform new finish throughout. I recommend Westwood to anyone looking to refinish their wood floors.

Westwood Flooring & Design Center refinished my parents’ almost 30 year old floor that had gaps, squeaks, and yellowish oil based poly coat and I can’t describe how gorgeous it came out. It’s so smooth, quiet, and looks like brand new! Theo and Val were detail oriented and worked tirelessly all day! They were so pleasant to talk to and answered all my questions while they worked. You can tell they take pride in their work. Marcos at the Elmsford location (they have several locations) gave me the estimate, told me what to expect and was very professional. They covered the kitchen area and cabinets but there were hardly any dust to begin with. They left the floors and surrounding areas spotless. I've used Westwood Flooring for years—they are my go-to for great service and a wide selection. During a recent renovation, I had to replace my floors unexpectedly. Joe P. helped me pick something completely different than I imagined and it ended up being one of the best parts of the whole project! The space was totally transformed and we always get compliments.
