We could not be happier with the service that we received from Whalen. From our first compassionate phone conversation with Kathleen, to the great communication from Josh, and the hard working and friendly crew (especially Orvid and Ricky), we felt like we were in good hands the whole time. Having a disaster (fire, in our case) is traumatic enough. On top of it, everything that is not destroyed has to be painstakingly cleaned, which is frankly a little traumatic in itself. Last summer we had an unfortunate water leak from our refrigerator that was unnoticed for some time. I contacted Whalen early afternoon and within a few hours Glenn Souza came to assess the situation and quickly got emergency remediation services over to rip up the wet wood and dry wall and brought over dehumidifier and high power fans to dry everything out. Over the next several months Glenn worked tirelessly with our insurance adjuster to get us the amount of money needed for the repairs and renovations. Glenn was always there to answer all my questions (and I had a lot!!) he was always available pretty quickly whenever I needed him and kept me up to date every step of the way! I highly recommend Whalen Restoration Services, Inc.'s remediation services. I spoke with Kathleen, who took my particulars over the phone. She then passed them on to Robbie, who called me back the same day to arrange an on-site estimate. Robbie came the next day, prepared to work on the issue upon approval of the very reasonable estimate, which was half the amount charged by another national business. Robbie was punctual, informative, considerate, and left the location cleaned and sanitized. Our septic backed up and it made one heck of a mess. Whalen's showed up the next day (we had to repair the septic first) and have been amazing! We were fortunate to have Carlos and Tony at our house to do the clean-up. These two are a team, they work so well together to get the job done. This type of work is not easy, I have so much respect for them. I hope we don't have another septic issue, but if we do, we know who to call. This company deserves nothing short of 5 stars. We used Whalen 7 years ago when we had a small fire and were very happy then with the people and services provided. We used them again recently for water damage from a broken hot water tank. Once again, the cleanup and resoration folks were really good, the work was done on time and at the cost quoted. Whalen worked with our insurance company to help us file the necessary claims. They also brought in an independent dry cleaner and mover to facilitate the work. I want to commend them as well for doing this job without a lot of supervision as I was unavailable for much of the time. Thanks Whalen for a job well done.
