Whipple's Yard Services

I couldn’t be happier that I had Chris, the owner of Whipple’s Yard Services in Mystic, renew my front yard after I had someone remove three large trees that had been there for 35 years. Chris and his crew worked tirelessly to remove roots, vines, bushes, and debris, and had two large stumps ground down before flawlessly spreading beautiful topsoil, fertilizer and grass seed. I’ve been a resident in Mystic for 44 years and my lawn has never looked better. Chris saved our patio/gravel landscaping project. He responded promptly to our query, came in person to visit the job site, and offered a realistic estimate. He offered cash pricing. When he had an unexpected opening in his schedule, he called us to arrange an earlier job. On the day of, he showed up with his excavator and promptly and quickly dug out our gravel pit. I will look to use Whipple’s Yard Services again for small to medium-sized, one-off projects again!

From start to finishing my interactions with Chris Whipple was a great experience. Clear communication and he is very flexible and patient. He removed some evergreen shrubs that were too close to the house and mulched the yard. Perfect job!

Chris and his son came and cleaned out a small garden patch, leveled it off with 3 yards of topsoil, edged it rototilled it, and leveled it. They cleaned up after themselves and even provided a recepticle for me to put my yard waste into and then disposed of it! From start to finish, Chris was was very pleasant and professional. He returned my call quickly, provided me with an estimate promptly, kept me apprised of when he would start the job, came when expected, and completed the job in less than 2 hours because he had all of the right equipment. He also provided his son with valuable lessons about work ethics and business management. I would recommend him without hesitation 👍
