White's Ace Hardware at Fishers

I appreciate how helpful everyone is at Whites - and they always have what I need (and pretty easy to find) I’ve shopped here before it was Whites, and spent hours wandering around Big Box stores (to be disappointed). It’s the little items I’ve come in for that have fixed all manner of stuff in our house. Whites has it. Great BBQ selection too. Appreciate you guys at Whites - our mower lives again thanks to you!

I have been a Neighbor and Customer since the beginning of the do-It Center in Fishers. Everyone who has been a customer there knows and appreciates Bert’s dedication to the customer which is why I had remained loyal to the store for so many years even after it was sold, and so many changes were made. I don’t mind change But with Bert gone… There goes my loyalty and I don’t care to shop there anymore

I strolled into White’s Ace Hardware in Fishers on a chill Thursday evening, windows in hand, feeling like the DIY version of a damsel in distress. My screens were in rough shape—basically hanging on by a thread (literally). The staff was super friendly and told me it might take up to a week to rescreen them. I accepted my fate. I mentally prepared for a long, screenless wait. Cut to FRIDAY—the very next day—I get a call. My screens are DONE. Not even 24 hours later. I don’t know what kind of wizardry is going on back there, but I’m convinced they have a time machine or a superhero in the back room (Screen-Man? The Mesh Whisperer?). Bottom line: they were fast, friendly, and they didn’t judge me for carrying four busted screens like a confused raccoon trying to renovate a treehouse. High

Once Do it center was purchased by White’s the store and employees have went down hill, what used to be a staple in the community has been taken over by greed, such a shame. The staff that once built the do it center brand was pushed out by younger employees that couldn’t tell you the thread pitch of a bolt by eye or the nominal size of a 2x4 Most in the community would pay the couple of extra dollars to support the small brand, now days patrons choose the box stores as the small town charm of our once beloved Do It Center has been ruined by a new brand and greed. It’s not about helping people any longer hints to all the new brands and lack of training the new staff.

Great customer service. Many positive experiences but my most recent one stuck out to me. I brought in a lock that had broken and Bert spent over an hour fixing it. It was tedious and he was happy to help. Didn’t charge me anything.
