Wicomico Heating & Air Conditioning

After receiving five estimates from local HVAC companies, I'm pleased to say I went with Wicomico Heating and Air conditioning. Chip made the initial visit and provided a prompt estimate. I wanted a Trane and the pricing was by far the best. They also installed a dehumidifier. It's been fifteen months, through two cold winters and my heating and AC costs are far far below what friends and family are paying. My niece had a company, (their name rhymes with a phone company), that was strong arming them they needed a new system. I recommended Wicomico Heating and Air. After a minor repair, their system was good to go. It's great to do business with a reputable, honest company.

My gas furnace gave out on me in the middle of the night and I called early in the morning as a new customer and they had someone out to me in a very reasonable amount of time. The technician was Smitty and he was knowledgeable and diagnosed and fixed the problem without any issues and he was very helpful and informative and friendly and didn’t try to “up sell” me anything I didn’t need. I appreciate a local business and I’ll definitely be using them in the future for routine maintenance and any other issues I may have.

Smitty was very professional, did a fine job and really helped us out. We appreciate that he was able to get to us the same day our heat went out.

I own 2 houses. Wicomico Heating and Air services them both. Besides normal routine maintenance, they have installed several water heaters, replaced hot water coils for my heating system, and installed a split unit AC / Heating Unit in my house. They have good installers and service people. Always polite and courteous. 10/21/2015 I am adding on to this review. I decided to get rid of my Natural Gas hot water heating system, And my main A/C outside cooling system. I installed all Split Unit Cooling/Heating systems. The new units are a lot more energy efficient. You can control each unit as you wish. The Installer And his Co-worker are so efficient in getting the work done as promised. I recommend Wicomico Heating and Air very highly.

In the midst of extensive home repairs during a wicked hot summer, my a/c failing was the last straw. Dale diagnosed the problem in my mid-century house (a/c in the attic, furnace in the basement), the part was obtained promptly, and Wicomico Heating & AC worked around my schedule to get it installed as quickly as possible. Dale showed as much attention to detail to the installation as he did to the diagnosis. Highly recommend.
