We are part way into our deck project. At this point, we can say that doing business with WICR Waterproofing has been a real pleasure. We feel confident in their expertise. From Sam, our sales person, to Christian, our lead supervisor, we've experienced nothing but professionalism. Sam has been really easy to communicate with, he's accessible, and he explains things clearly. Whatever he's not 100% sure on he collaborates with Ernie, who's the expert on deck installation. We've overheard them videochatting with one another and it gives us comfort knowing they're brainstorming on how to tackle this job. We feel confident that they know what they're doing. I hired WICR to waterproof a 310SF 2nd story deck. The sales guys showed up, showed me the layered sample of the product and promised me a quote within 24 hours. Sure enough, less than 24 hour later I was on the schedule. The installers did an excellent job making sure everything was taped off and final result was nothing short of perfection. Fast forward a year later, I hired a painter to repaint the deck railings who managed to drip black paint on the deck. I emailed the kind folks at WICR and asked if they had any leftover paint and they immediately replied back saying they will drop some off at my house in the next few days. Exactly the next day, a gentleman drops off enough paint for me to do the touch up. I will recommend WICR to anyone who cares about careful detailed work and excel

I am sorry to report that this business has disappointed us. We first had them do a complete deck repair in 2009, then in 2017 and 2023 a reseal coating that included some crack repair. In less than a year later a crack that was repaired in 2023 re-emerged. When I called them to come out and evaluate for repair there was no return call. After three attempts on our part Matt Smith said he would come out then he never called back. More attempts on our part but to this day no one has called back to schedule a visit. We were not even expecting this to be something they would do for free but we did expect the business to recognize that this was a repair they had done less than a year ago. So, now I will find another company to repair this crack.

Gave me a ridiculous explanation of how a specific color chosen on a color chart can vary greatly with each container. I asked them to verify the color they used on my decks and what they gave me wasn’t even close to the color they used. I’ve spoken to the manufacturer and they concurred with me. We had a spirited discussion and even had one of there reps come out and look at the color of my deck, and he agreed it was way different than what they said they used. I wanted to get some for a touch up. Be careful with this company.

WICR are THE guys to call with any leaks or waterproofing. The WHOLE team from beginning to end are professional and efficient. Great communication all the way through. The team performing the repairs were extremely knowledgeable, considerate and skilled. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
