Wild Child Street Rods and Classics

I have used Wild Child for a few years now, and feel bad it has taken this long to write a review for these great guys. Long story short? HIGHLY Recommend. My father left me his 1962 Catalina (original owner) and after dealing with a couple of other establishments I was left with a car that barely ran, and eventually broke down, but I’ll get to that. I first took the Catalina to Bob because the last “mechanic” (now out of business for good reasons) had rebuilt the engine but it would only run a short time and then stall. He kept telling me there was nothing he could do because it was just vapor locking. I took it to Wild Child and they figured out he had installed the fuel pump driving gear (forget the part name) in backwards, causing a very low fuel rate. The cost of the repair was

Took my classic in for a steering problem on the appointment date. The work was completed the following day at very reasonable cost.

Gave this business 5000 in a check in Sumner of 2021. They won't pick up the car. Have checked back with them every 2 months since. I tried to get a refund now in April of 2024 2 and a half years later. When I asked for a refund I was told he would send a check certified mail. N9 check came after a Month I went back to get my money and was assaulted and the owner attempted to throw me out. I now have to hire a lawyer and go to small claims court because they won't return the miney unlss I take him ( Bob ) the owner to court. If you wat to get 5000 dollars stolen from you and have to hire a lawyer to get it back go to wild child customs on park street I castle rock. Bit if you do t want that to happen then I would suggest fo find a different custom shop. Read the reviews I am not the onl

Been on the waitlist to get my truck painted for like 8 months. Was told 8 weeks. I’ve called multiple times to ask and am told something like “Yep, got you right here” and never hear back. I know for a fact they’ve had others behind me on the list get their cars through. I’m giving up…
