Wine & Design Cary

Such a fun place to take a class! Instructors are great & it's a nice way to explore new crafts/hobbies without having to buy a ton of supplies that clutter up your home. I made this sea glass Christmas tree & love it!

My sister-in-law and our group had a GREAT time at the Chunky Blanket Workshop a few weeks ago, but it started off on a bit of a frustrating note. I understand that the expectation is that you bring your own wine/beverages and/or snacks, but what I didn't know is whether they would have ice, cups, or corkscrews. I don't *think I saw it on their website, but I eventually found it somewhere on the internet that this location *would* have cups and ice. I tried to call the business MULTIPLE times after they opened to confirm this, but no one ever answered the phone. When I arrived, there were no cups and ice. However, one of the instructors found some 'baby' cups like you would use to swish mouthwash. SO, my sister and I just took shots of lemonade throughout the night! :) I didn't even b

I have attended painting classes at this location before and always had a good time. I recently tried the glass blowing - super fun and very different type of activity. Tonight I did a stained glass class. The staff could not have been more accommodating. My friend and I had so much a good time and we love our sailboats! I wanted to be sure to take some time and write a review because I love that Wine & Design is offering so many different types of classes. I've also been really impressed with all the staff members who have been running the classes. Thanks for being a great place for me to get my crafting fix!

I had been previously to paint a picture but didn't have the wall space for it so knew I'd never do another. When I saw the sea glass tree, I knew I had to make one. The class and materials were very organized. Maya, our instructor, was friendly, very helpful and just an all-round great instructor. I highly recommend this class. The people across the room were making stained glass suncatchers of leaves and I was intrigued by that course as well. They had their own instructor so Maya was able to devote all her time to the four of us. I'm glad to see courses that don't produce items that need wall space. Also I don't paint very well but I am very pleased at the way my tree turned out.

We did the stain glass project as a couples outing. Lots of friends groups. Ours project was a good first time attempt. Was simplified & easily fit into our two hours.
