Wood Menders

It has been such a pleasure working with Scott and Zack. They have transformed my front door that was weather-damaged. Scott will post before and after pictures. It was an arduous task for them but they were up to the challenge. I would highly recommend Wood Menders. They are professional and bring great expertise to any wood refinishing project.

Scott and his family restored my grandmother’s hope chest. It looks amazing. It was in rough shape and I wasn’t sure it could be restored. I cried when I saw the beautiful craftsmanship. They were able to beautifully restore the chest without losing its aged character. Scott was so easy to work with. I would highly recommend WoodMenders. Thank you to Scott and family for giving me back a treasured part of my grandmother’s life.

I am new to refinishing and repairing furniture and took Dan's class out of curiousity and interest. There is a lot to cover, but in the 2 hour course he was able to give the basics that I needed to know to at least feel confident to start an easy project (and know that I can contact him if I run into big problems or have questions). He's obviously very knowledgable and the class was informative and easy to follow for a beginner. The only suggestion I would have for the course is to add some hands-on activities for learning.

I took at class at Wood Menders and it was great. Dan was very informative and helpful. I wil definitely contact Wood Menders to look at some projects I would like done.
