X-Stream Ponds of Tucson

This used to be a 5 star review, but unfortunately the company no longer deserves that. They installed my water feature for wildlife and when I asked them if they could do maintenance a few months later, they said yes, and when did I want them to start. I said March. But because the waterproof paint was peeling and the filter wasn't doing a good job anymore, I asked them if they could start in February. I never heard back from them again. I sent 7 text messages which were all unanswered/ignored. (And I understand people can be busy, I did not send 7 messages a day, this was between January and April to give time to get back to me.) I asked them if they were still interested in the job...no answer. Sent a reminder.... no answer. Sent a text saying it was my last attempt to try to get a hold

Update: This crook is now using the name "X-treme" ponds of Tucson in addition to to "X-Stream" BEWARE: Mario posed as a licensed contractor, even giving me his business card with ROC license number. Ripped me off for $9800. Turns out he is NOT licensed and never has been. The license belonged to the previous owner of this company. He installed USED liner, pump (missing impeller cover and has a CUT in the electrical cord) and skimmer and tried to patch a bunch of scrap liner pieces together for a stream. Every single seam leaks because he 'spot glued' them and then tried to just use the one sided seam tape on top which had wrinkles and holes for the water to flow right through the seams. Made a muddy mess out of my yard. Came back three times to try to 'fix' the mess he made. After the 3rd

Mario and his son, did an outstanding job, removing a 20 year old, concrete waterfall and replaced it with a pondless waterfall, that represents the Tucson landscape. They completed the job in less time than expected, took pride. In their work. Cleaned up before leaving, each and every day! They were professional and enjoyable to work with.

Wow! Mario and his guys showed up and made my water feature look great. Orignally wanted a service contract with them but was obviously dismissed as they never got back to me. Within 6 months the whole thing collapsed! A number of calls and texts to Mario were not answered but he finally did answer me and said he would be out to fix it the following week. No show! More calls and he said the next week. No call, no show! Finally had another company (Lin's Pond Design) come out and fix it properly. More money spent that should not have happened if the job was done right the first time or with proper follow up. Sorry Mario, just the facts.

Good integrity..Came to give me quote on a repair of my back yard stream. Was honest with me and did not try to sell, let me know my stream was good and need minor repairs I could do. I appreciated the honesty and tips.
