Yancey Company

I have nothing but praise for the Yancey Company. I selected them to do my kitchen remodel 6 months ago and have no regrets. It turned out beautiful! Scott helped me tremendously with the planning of my vision and Big Jim brought my plan to fruition with his workmanship. I am admittedly very picky and can honestly say every detail was met impeccably. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Yancey for their remodeling needs.

We hired Yancey to completely redo our main bathroom and make it an accessible bathroom. Walker and wheelchair accessible. Our bathroom was original 1957 small tub and built-in vanity. Yancey worked with our bathroom dimensions and created a wonderful experience for us. They were very easy to work with, very professional, and listened to all of our concerns. We did not shop around as we know we know can always find something cheaper But for us quality and service was more important than just the price. Yancey has been around Sacramento since 1939 and to do that today they must be doing things right. The installation crew consisted of the foreman, Slavic and a helper, Nathan. We had been putting off renovating this bathroom (our only bathroom) for years, and we're so glad we decided to finally do it! Steve came out and talked us through everything, took ample time to discuss what we expected, and gave us an estimate. Once we agreed to proceed, he took his time ensuring that we would be happy with every detail at completion. With resale being the main goal, while still wanting to enjoy it while we're living here, he was honest about what would give us that timeless look without sacrificing our taste or budget. What I loved about this company before even reaching out to them was the story about how the business began, how long they have been in business and the family behind it. As well as the great reviews by happy customers. Our journey has been so easy with Scott, he called, he came out to our home several times and took the measurements and pictures. My interaction to date has been with Scott Tueckes, and he is the estimator for a 2 bathroom job for me. Scott is an experienced construction estimator and did an excellent job on taking me through the materials and fixture choices for my project, and providing me reasonable pricing and reassurance on the timing of my project. I look forward to the finished products of 2 remodeled bathrooms.
