I do not usually write reviews for businesses. However, I felt compelled to write this review for Yost Conservation LLC. A beloved fine painting that my daughter inherited from her grandfather fell off the wall which resulted in a 4 inch rip in the canvas. (there was already a small tear on the upper edge of the painting but not one you noticed too much).The painting also had some heavy smokers yellowing on the surface. I was referred to Tom Yost by a reputable art museum/gallery. As an artist myself with a keen eye for detail, I was very cautious about having this beautiful painting mended, restored, and cleaned by someone who's work I did not know.
