Young Electric was very hard to get in touch with after the first deposit was given to them and work started. Multiple things in the work they did was not done as agreed in the original bid. It's like they were just trying to cut corners the whole time. Spent the extra money to use a more honest, dependable reputable company.

Denny Young owes our very small local-owned business over $15,000 and will not return calls or emails. If he is willing to make a payment plan I can modify my review.

Young Electric was hired to install an HVAC system in a new build home. Half of about $23,500 was paid up front nine months ago. Work commenced. Subpar quality was noticed part way through installation. I have been waiting to install insulation and sheetrock until they are finished but after giving them the last check of $6500, I cannot get in touch with them. I have text and called for 2.5 months with no response. The duct was installed in the floor joists but none of the seams are sealed and I'm told they don't need to be. Too many other issues found by the inspector to list them all. Furnace is smaller than what was quoted and paid for in the plans. Ceiling registers aren't all finished and ready for insulation. They came highly recommended by family, but they never returned our messages requesting an appointment when our air conditioner went out in the evening a week ago. I requested an appointment through Young's online appointment system early the next morning (9 July 2021) and was hopeful after receiving the automated email saying "they would get back with us shortly, in the meantime call them with any questions." I called twice that day because the first time was a couple of minutes before business hours began. The second time I even requested a call back, if they could not work us in because they were busy. My husband called the following Monday, still nothing. Not sure what was up, however, not returning a call even to say they are swamped is bad business etiquette and that is the reason

We had a simple job to add a few exterior outlets and wiring. The said they would provide a bid and it was satisfactory. Then we had to call them time and time again to schedule. This took over a month and when we had it scheduled, they cancelled and pushed it out another week. Poor service and disappointing that something this simple would be so laborious to complete for Young Electric.
