Young Plumbing and Heating

They came and fixed my dishwasher that was clogged. Happy for that. They worked in my basement in a sink. Left for a bit and came back. Said they had to leave and not to use the sink. It was leaking and my buddy came over and found paper towels stuffed in the hole that they used to plug it up with. He fixed it with 1 trip to menards and charged me a very good price. My bill for this company was 700. At least tell me the pipe that was removed is only blocked with paper towels. I've used them before and was pleased, so this just sucked. Thank goodness for my buddy.

Had my septic pumped, driver ran over my wheel barrow and crushed it. Absolutely crushed it. I brought it to the company's attention and no response other than the driver called to ask to pay for it, as if he was going to be in trouble if he didn't. Accidents happen, the company should take responsibility not put it on an employee. I won't be doing business with this outfit again. Not even 1 dollar off for crushing a 150.00 wheel barrow, I don't want to support a company that treats people or employees like this.

Stopped in to put in a service order in February for a look at our boiler and septic. Found out the previous homeowner had them pump the septic. They said their work orders were three weeks out. Called back March 5 and the lady said plumber not in and will check when he returns. Obviously by some of these good reviews, something is wrong. We had service on our boiler within a day from someone in town (exceptional work) AND have had septic pumped and a new one ordered from someone other than Young. I cannot believe they would not even notify you if they could not perform a service. Have talked to friends who use them and are satisfied, but say they are overextended, and some say they would not use them. Me, I looked elsewhere.

In the last two months they have installed our new septic and new boiler. We are very happy with the work done and the thoroughness of the work and friendliness of the staff! Our 3 year old loves when "The plumber!!" comes to our house 😝

We had a 55 year old boiler that needed replacing as well as a water heater. Owner, Greg came over and surveyed the area. He explained the work that needed to be done and that it was pretty involved. I am happy to report how happy we are with the work. They were prompt, clean, professional and it came in under bid. I have used Young Plumbing before and will continue to do so!!
