Just had a floor drain replaced, and while there was some lead time (to be expected with a bigger job like this) the work was professional, and quick in & out when the day came! I’m very thankful that the pricing was reasonable as well. I had someone out previously to diagnose a dripping shower into the basement, helped me to determine that it was NOT the plumbing, rather poor caulking. Didn’t charge even a trip fee for that! Z’s plumbing has definitely earned my trust and business for future plumbing projects.

I just had my first experience with z's plumbing. Jim is the most honest person I have ever hired, I asked him several water softener questions and he could have easily sold me a new one, instead he told me that mine was good quality and I should keep using it. The reason I had him out was to do a anode rod in my water heater, I got 3 quotes Jim beat my best quote by 50%! Don't waste your time looking any further this is the best company around. update Feb 2026, had my second job for Jim. he diagnosed my issue over txt, came out the next day and fixed it. I don't think anyone will ever beat his prices. if you like small companies this is your guy.

Remodeling our walkout, upon removing the old suspended ceiling, we saw that the pipe running across the family room was ‘below’ the floor joists so that it was in the way of putting in the new ceiling. Jim / Z’s Plumbing came out and looked at it and suggested exactly what I was hoping they would. They installed pex pipe and made sure it was above the floor/ceiling joist level so we could properly install the new sheetrock ceiling with knock-down texture. They were fast/efficient and professional and very nice from the beginning. I ‘am’ using them again ;) (I have another plumbing issue now - the thrills of a house built in the 70’s) The last picture shows the old pipe that had a bent sheet metal piece to capture potential moisture/etc. This was sticking ‘below’ (see second picture

We've had Z's out to do three jobs in our house, and I have nothing but positive things to say. Excellent communication, excellent work, and all for very fair prices. Our first call every time.
