1990 K Street Valet Garage (Atlantic Parking)

Had an absolutely awful experience parking here. I was not told the garage closed at 7pm and that there would essentially be NO WAY for me to access my car after. I had to work late and was locked out. I called multiple times and talked to a very disinterested individual who couldn’t care less about my situation and kept munching on a sandwich. The only assurance I received was that I would not be charged additionally the next day. I was told a message had been left for the next day’s attendant. However, on the next day, the attendant stopped me and aggressively demanded payment. I tried to explain the situation but he continued to belligerently interrupt me. It was hard to understand him. Same as everyone else. Parking attendant Daniel tries to extort money on top of the Spot Hero amount already paid. Has happened twice now. An then he makes you move your car over and over while you try to locate a solution with Spot Hero. Spot Hero on the other hand is fabulous! They immediately locate an alternate lot for you to use. DO NOT PARK HERE. Overnight parking is ridiculous and this parking lot attendant lies to you. Avoid parking overnight by all means. We came in at 6:30 pm and left at 11 am next morning. We were told that the total is $32 that the 1st day will be $18 that I pay upfront and I pay the rest of $14 the next day. The attendant also even said we could pick up the car any time next day. We were not told to come to pick up the car when, but we still told him we were going to pick up the car around 11 am. When I picked up my car the attendant charged me $32. I asked him the charge was wrong and do it again. He refused because 1) we came too late (11 am!!!!!!) and 2) he gave me the discount of $4 already for today morning. This doesn’t make sense at all. Beware!!!!! I reserved a two hour spot through SpotHero. Initially the attendant refused to honor the reservation and then try to extort additional money to let me leave, even though I was still within the timeframe of my reservation

Absolutely scammy. Do NOT park here. I wasted $18 and valuable time. Absolutely gross. The company is called Atlantic something. Do NOT park with them
