3M Hardwood Floors

Update 09/01/2025 I hired again to redo my dad’s hardwood floors and paneling thru the apartment. The sanded, stained and varnish everything. Mauricio took up all the carpet and old linoleum flooring while a different crew of men sanded the windows, paneling, doors, trim etc. It took about 2 weeks to sand. The place is absolutely beautiful! Worth every penny. 3M are true professionals in bringing out the beauty of old wood. +++++++++++ The company had done a great job on my staircase which had been covered by carpet. They removed the carpet, stained and polished the exposed wood. They did an outstanding job. My 1960’s floors were water damaged when I purchased my new home, but the guys at 3M floors assured me they could fix and finish them like new. The results are even better than expected! Terri in the office was quick and efficient with sending me the quote and scheduling the job, staying in communication with me and answering all of my questions. She even moved the schedule to accommodate me when the closing was delayed. The crew was courteous, professional, and focused on their tasks, getting right to work on time. Marcelo came on day two to finish coating the floors and stayed to discuss and answer any and all questions I had about cleaning and maintaining my newly finished floors. I recently moved into a senior home that was built in 1965. VERY little has been improved/done in this place since it was new. The hardwood floors were in terrible condition. While 3M’s quote was SLIGHTLY higher than another quote I received, they were available for the time I needed. 3M Melo Hardwood Floors, Inc. did a fabulous job replacing the ugly vinyl snap flooring in the master bedroom and hallway (that were originally hardwood when built) and refinishing the hardwood that has been badly neglected for the past 58 years! I would highly recommend 3M to anyone who asks. They were professional, courteous and on time. Marcelo Melo took time and answered all my questions to my full satisfaction.

Marcelo was great to work with and gave me great advice on what to do with my floors. He and his team were punctual and professional; they were able to schedule and finish our job in less then a week. I love the work and the stain and finish recommendations. I will definitely use their service again.

We just bought our house and it needed some serious work. Mauricio was able to install vinyl flooring over the old carpeted floor in the basement and the hardwood floors and stairs upstairs refinished to look like new. We were really happy with the work done and he was able to work with us on pricing to fit our budget. Would recommend.
