600 Olive Way Garage - Lot #58

DON’T Park here. TLDR: don’t park here if you’re planning to be out past 10pm. You will not be able to get your car back till the next business day (they aren’t open on weekends either so you’ll have to wait till Monday if you parked on Friday night) Not one to leave a review but worst experience parking. Me (and about 10 other people) were locked out of the garage since it closed at 10pm and none of us were aware. Upon looking closer, it does state the hours in smaller font BUT I originally paid for parking till midnight and then RENEWED parking for another hour till 1am. Not one notice via text or any warning when confirming the amount of time I wanted to park. Called customer support and the best they could do was “escalate” this situation and to expect a call back from a supervisor for

We were in Seattle for a concert and paid for parking until 11:15pm. Someone in another group had paid until early in the morning the following day. At 10:50pm our group, as well as several others, came back to discover that the garage was locked and we didn't have access to our cars. Everyone there called Metropolis (the management co. I assume) and we were told to call back in 15 min increments because they were "escalating" the situation to a supervisor. We were told that this "wasn't an emergency" despite there being prescription dependant people stranded locked outside a parking garage in November at night. We paid $12.45 from a online website which allowed us to park from 8am-6pm as long as entry was before 10am. Great location, cheap price, however not recommended for large vehicles or people that require an elevator. This parkade has narrow and steep lanes, irregular and small sized parking spaces. NO ELEVATOR on site. All the websites say this is an accessible building but if you have a wheelchair, stroller, person who cannot use stairs, I do not recommend this lot. There is no attendant around either, however parking is monitored based on your license plate of your vehicle.

Good: cheaper than nearby lots. Bad: no elevator, narrow lanes, difficult to park, tiny parking spot, very steep stairwell. tldr; How bad can it be? I thought...probably most people only review a parking garage when there's a problem. It's an old building, so after you circle up many floors on very steep ramps with narrow lanes, you get to test your parking skills with a 15-point turn to get into a crazy small space without room for maneuvering and then you'll have to walk back down several flights of stairs that are very steep - must be grandfathered in...you couldn't do this in a new building! It costs less than other garages, and turns out you get what you pay for. Great place to torture anyone with claustrophobia or to send a nervous driver into a panic attack.

Location + price is the main thing about this parking lot and you get what you pay for, so I can't complain too much. I'm happy I can park so close to work and for that price. Like everybody else said, there's no elevator, very little parking space and the ramps are very steep. If you wanna find a place to park in downtown for cheap that has location and that's it, then this place is good for you.
