6th & Penn iParkit Garage

Parked in the garage on Thursday, March 8th and noticed that my suv has several areas of streaking from leaking above concrete of various chemicals in the building. Will be calling owner but beware of parking here, especially if its raining out. The entire garage is under construction.

February 10, 2026 -- the entire garage is under construction. Several "two way traffic" corridors are only wide enough for 1 vehicle at a time, with terrible blind spots. Despite being OUT of available parking this morning, the garage was NOT marked as FULL, and the automated gate continued to let cars in. Took me over 45 minutes to get back out of the garage while workers carved out a few extra parking spaces and then maneuvered vehicles around each other. As I approached the gate to leave, I heard someone (I assume the manager) instructing other workers "Don't worry about taking tickets, just focus on letting people out. Are you able to open the gate manually? Okay, just do that." Yet when I got to the gate, I sat there for several seconds without being acknowledged. I scanned my ticket

Wife’s car was broken into while attending an event. Costs 45 dollars during events with obv no security. We will be finding safer areas to park which are much cheaper even if we have to walk a farther distance.

Decent garage, but, Thursday February 12th 2026, parked at about 5:20 p.m. Left at about 7:45 p.m. The rates online show $10 for the evening after 4:00 p.m.. But yet I was charged $22. As far as I know there was no event, and anyway, how do you even know if there IS an event? The garage didn't seem crowded at all. Disappointing.

My girlfriend and I parked in this garage for less than 2 hours on a Sunday. The prices were NOT listed anywhere that we could see. But there was a sign on the outside that said “fixed weekend rate of $22”. There was no “event” going on in Pittsburgh that we knew of. The garage charged us a $35 event rate on the way out. We tried to push the help button but the person on the other end was incomprehensible. We ended up paying it to leave but I did contact the iParkit website. Also there is excessive construction going on in the garage which makes it confusing to navigate. I’ve never paid this much for parking in Pittsburgh even when there was an actual event like a football game.
