999 Waterside Drive - Dominion Tower Parking

I attended “Tonight’s Conversation “ on 10/3 and used this parking garage- it turned out to be a nightmare! It took 2 hours to get out the garage from the 7th floor! Another woman called 911 because we were at a stand still for over an hour! I had used the QR code to pay before I finally made it to the gate- however, the gate doors would not allow me to get out unless I made another payment! I filled a dispute with my CC because I was charged twice! Overall, never again! Find somewhere else to part or just stay away from this area when it comes to events! FYI: I was charged 15.99 twice! Much higher than the fees posted on there schedule! 🤬

PARK SOMEWHERE ELSE. We were directed by police officers to park here for the recent Banana Ball game on 7/24, being told it was the only option. After the game, it took us almost a full hour to get out of the garage due to traffic. Completely ridiculous that they didn't have anyone directing things with that much traffic. This caused us to go over the 4hr limit by 9 minutes, so we were charged more ($16.99). Given the situation, we called to provide feedback, and both the Sheraton and Metropolis were rude and offered no help. Definitely "first world problems" here, but given the frustration, wasted time, money, and lack of customer service, I would never use this garage again. I'd park elsewhere and scooter or Uber in instead.

Had to use a phone number and app to get into the garage. This made me hold up the line for a good 10 minutes trying to get everything and still didn't get it right but they let me in. When I called I was told that I have a monthly pass, which I do not. Now I don't have anyone there to ask about how to get this fixed for tomorrow.

Went in entry lane 1455 at 12/01/23 @1:51pm (according to the ticket) but the gate did not lift. So I inched forward to the gate but it still did not go up. An attendant came out (said his name is Brandon) and accused me of damaging his gate. There was clearly no damage. He was extremely rude and when I asked so what do we do now he said “park somewhere else” albeit there is another lane functioning which he could’ve directed us to.

I had a very bad experience with them. The person "in charge" is not helpful at all and had an awful attitude when we were trying to solve a problem with my grandma's monthly membership. They couldn't even give us proof that we were going to get a refund for the 80 dollars that they overcharged us. He doesn't know anything about customer service, he shouldn't be working there.
