Antonio and his crew do impeccable work of the highest quality. Dependable and fairly priced with Antonio overseeing every detail. We have used DeBenedetto Construction for a number of major projects to restore our 1964 midcentury modern home. We had water collecting after every storm, and the backyard was a swamp until Antonio put in French drains. Our stone walls were tilting, and we were missing a staircase off the sliders in our family room. We also had our roof power washed, a patio and pavers done, flagstone paths, hardscaping and mulching, a shed rebuilt, gas line and fire bowl, and new garage doors and gutters installed. He went over all the details of the work that I needed and said he would send an estimate which he did. I compared him with others and found him to be the most reasonable and the most attentive ti detail. Antonio and his crew were very professional and very meticulous about their work. We had our driveway redone in pavers and a patio with fire pit installed in our backyard, the job came out beautifully! Antonio also repaired our cracked foundation he had noticed while excavating our driveway. Everyone stops and compliments our driveway! Excellent work to him and his crew will definitely rehire for anymore work.

We recently sought to replace our ugly, crumbling concrete steps and wanted something beautiful to replace them -- stone risers and bluestone treads, with bluestone platforms interrupting the "escalator effect" that our old steps had. We sought a number of quotes and ended up going with the highest one, from Debenedetto Construction, because we could tell just from talking with Antonio that he understood exactly what we wanted and would do a great job. Such was not the case with the other companies, whose salespeople were pushing us to use bricks or pavers and didn't seem to have specific ideas about how to build what we envisioned. This is my second project with Debenedetto Construction and they are great. They installed grass sod at my 2-family investment property in Jersey City Heights in one day. The workers were friendly and professional. The first project was much bigger and it was in Rutherford where they installed pavers in my backyard, new stone stairs, and new driveway. Highly recommend.
