A & K Painting & Remodeling

I am a renter and A & K was hired to do flooring, drywall repair and painting in my basement after water damage. They were amazing and I can't say enough positive things! Very punctual, clean, organized and thorough. They finished a whole day earlier than planned. They also did extra work above and beyond what was asked (patched a hole in drywall that I had caused and semi-repaired, cleaned my gunky and plugged up utility sink). They did amazingly detailed and quality work! Their communication was top notch as well. They even vacuumed my stairs upon completion! Truly would highly, highly recommend this company! We have hired A&K for a few internal painting projects in our house and we are very impressed! They are professional and meticulous. They're super fast and efficient, yet they do really high quality work. In addition, they are very pleasant and polite to work with and just as important, they clean up after themselves! We have hired A&K for several projects, and they have been excellent every time. The most recent was a major project: painting our woodwork white through the entire house, including our stair railing, kitchen cabinets, doors, and bathrooms. They added wainscoting to our kitchen island, and did other small carpentry projects like raising a built-in bookshelf to the ceiling. They always arrived at 7:30am, were very professional and did a beautiful job. We highly recommend A&K.

Had to come out to fix over a dozen areas on 1 level. They left paint on appliance, couple of cabinets, outlets and light switches. They supposedly used a washable type of paint but when we went to wash an area on the wall it discolored the paint. I would not recommend this company to any of my enemies. This is not a business, this is a racket!

needed a full interior paint ASAP in time for the holidays. A&K was very easy to get scheduled and pricing was very fair (on the cheaper side of all the quotes). they stated they would paint a 2 story home with 2 coats of paint within one day (everyone else stated two days to allow better drying and prep time). i was responsiable for moving all items and sanding the walls and patching holes. paint looks great from a distance but extremely poor up close. paint was left on all outlets, swtiches, flooring, and trim pieces. they came back out to address, but some of the paint would not come off and the owner didnt seem to think it was a big deal. i made them re paint a wall in the bathroom three times which still looks bad. i had to fix it myself, i later found out that when they try to
