A Plus Concrete & Foundation Repair/A Plus Repair PGH

Great experience. Gary (owner) came to my home for the estimate and reassured me that the crack in my concrete porch could be repaired while other contractors wanted to replace the entire slab. The team called before arriving, explained everything that they were about to do, and actually noticed a few additional cracks that they fixed as needed. The team was courteous and answered all of my questions. I would recommend APlus Concrete.

Cris did an excellent job repairing my steps and cheek walls. Due to rain the day of the repair, he wasn’t able to paint and had to come back another day. I was not home when Cris began to paint, but I showed up right before he finished. I ran out of my car saying that’s the wrong color, that’s the wrong color!! The steps and cheek walls were to be painted brown, but the color on my steps was more of a gray. Cris agreed the color was not brown, but showed me the lid on the bucket of paint showed it as brown. He told me to contact Gary who he assured me would make it right. Well, I called the office and spoke with Joanne, who was very nice and sympathetic, who relayed my message to Gary. We have used A Plus Concrete and Foundation Two Times now and have been extremely pleased with their work each time! The first time was last summer. We had a large amount of concrete and repair work around the side of our old Pittsburgh house and our large concrete porch in our backyard. We were very impressed and their work immediately stopped the water leakage into our basement. Most recently, we were thinking about having some concrete pressure washing completed on the same area of our home. We immediately knew to call A Plus Concrete! Aplus Concrete did a FANTASTIC job on our patio above our garage. With having to reschedule due to weather they were here within 2 days of our original appointment. Nick and his crew were very professional, knowledgeable, kind, hard working, and efficient men! No doubt I will have them return for any more work needed and highly recommend them.

UPDATE 2 YEARS LATER: Several updates to make to my review. Shortly after I wrote the initial review, we had a storm and I had substantial leaking into my storage room and garage. It was clear they did not properly caulk and seal the edges of the porch against my house. They came back and did so. After that, I no longer had leaking problems for a while. The room stayed dry for about 2 years. Over the summer of 2024, the leaking returned along the seams of the house and porch. It got substantially worse over time and a new large crack formed and started leaking as well. There is now water built up under the vinyl stick on planks in the room. I was under the impression that the $5k job I paid for would last longer than 2 years. Feels like a ripoff honestly, and a DIY would have been much che
