A Purves Excavating Inc

I recently used Tom Purves to have a Field System completely replaced at my residence in Waterford. After a long 3-year struggle with having to have it pumped almost every month, not being able to do laundry, The Constant smell in the yard from it overflowing and the embarrassment of it. The county coming out every month or sometimes every week because my nosy neighbor wouldn't quit calling and complaining all the time.The cost most of all for the pumping and then the cost to have the field system replaced I got help through the township and Tom was one of the ones that came out and quoted me. Tom was an absolute pleasure to work with He was very informative, very friendly, very caring, very respectful ,He made sure my grandkids were safe with all the work he was doing. He never minded my

Tom was a life saver, he trenched my new garage for utilities, added gravel in the garage, and finally finish grading in preparation for grass. He was more then accommodating moving his other jobs around so I could plant grass early October 2025.

Tom Purves is very knowledgeable about excavating. We hired him because our expectations were not met with a previous excavator we’d hired. Tom offered us professional advice and excavation to resolve drainage issues with our new build house. We have now hired him multiple times and have been pleased every time. He is thorough, considerate of existing landscaping, and cleaned up when the job was done. We would always recommended Tom for excavating services.

Accepted the work. Escalated to need a backhoe. Increased the original estimate. Accepted the money! BUT…..would not provide documentation of work and inspection after numerous calls over past 19 months. Validation needed for home sale still would not return call! They will take your money after that ……Don’t know you!

Why would these people be in business if they hate prople? Don’t ask me, but that’s what they said to me, they don’t like people. But obviously they like other people’s money....
