ZERO STARS A&R is owned by Jason Reith. He cannot be trusted. He was recommended to me by my neighbor. HUGE MISTAKE! I met with Jason 2X before I hired him to remove 5 trees on my property. After the first meeting Jason kept calling and texting me to commit to hiring him. I told him I was getting other estimates. Before our second meeting, Jason contacted me a week prior and lowered his price by $1000 because he had a last minute cancellation in his schedule. We met roughly 3 days before his start date. We reviewed the trees to be removed and he even took pictures. He assured me that none of the wood from the trees would be left in my yard when he was done and the stumps would be left at a height ready for a stump grinder. I expressed my concerns about his equipment and damage to my yard

Jason and his crew gave us a great price and came to do the project in less than a week. The problem is that they never finished the job. Based off of the other reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence. They dropped the tree and damaged my lawn as well as multiple of my neighbor’s lawns too. In the middle of doing our project, Jason and his crew started working on our neighbor across the streets tree. He kept telling me not to worry and they would be back to finish but they left 3 piles of branches in the back lawn for 6 months. The worst part is he used our neighbors lawn to get the larger pieces of the tree from the back lawn to the road. In the process he dug up his lawn pretty bad. We were reassured that they would come back with dirt and seed but it never happened. My wife and I

0 stars. Do not recommend unless you enjoy following up with someone for 8 months and still don’t have the job completed. He will beat anyone else’s price, but we learned its because you’ll pay and they won’t complete the job. We had a massive tree cut down in the beginning of November 2022 which was partially cleaned up that day. The rest of the mess was left for 6 months due the the ground being soft and we had to reach out and ask multiple times when they could complete clean up. Our neighbors yard was used to get the larger equipment to the backyard for haul away and the owner asked the neighbor if it was okay stating that he’d come back in the spring to fill and seed where the ground was left destroyed. End of May I spoke with Jason on the phone and he said he’d be here May 26th. Jun

If anyone is looking to have some tree work done, A&R Lawnscaping is highly recommended! I called the company as I was looking to get some trees taking down in my backyard. Jason, a veteran himself, came out the following day to provide an estimate for the removal. After getting several estimates, I found Jason’s to be the most reasonable! He was very diligent and prompt with scheduling the service and made it easy to get in contact with. Jason was able to fit me in his schedule the following week and take down the trees. I had stumps grinded as well and cleanup done which took about two days total of hard work. His team left my yard in good repair when finished considering all the dead bark and sticks that fell from the dead ash trees. If anyone is looking to get some tree work done, Jaso

Jason called my husband on the morning of the agreed services to confirm the 3 trees we wanted cut down. I literally came home to find a 20 year old healthy tree cut down, which was NOT one we asked to be removed. Jason then had the nerve to show up at our door and ask for payment. I refused and we demanded reimbursement. Jason offered to replace the tree and after reaching out MULTIPLE times on SEVERAL platforms to discuss getting a sapling placed, we received no response. 7 months later and we are STILL waiting for compensation. 0 stars.
