A-Team Heating & Air Conditioning

We have an electric clothes dryer on the fritz, so we made an appt. for service call on a Friday. Tech came and diagnosed the problems. Said we needed a new roller and that the high limit thermostat was also out. He said he'd call later that afternoon to confirm it they had the part we needed. Tech did not call later. We waited through the weekend. On Monday I finally texted at 6PM and got a story. Then at 8PM he texted that they didn't have the parts so - sorry about that. They couldn't fix it. We called a different company, who said the thermostat is OK, and it will take us a few days to get the part. Dryer will be repaired on Monday. Wish we hadn't spent $113 for "service" from the A-Team.

We recently had our dishwasher repaired by Joe from A-Team. He was personable, conscientious & did an excellent job repairing our vintage Kenmore Elite dishwasher. He had to order a pump and return a few days later to replace the part. The only negative thing I have to say about the A-Team business in general (Which doesn’t pertain to Joe), is the total cost of the repair was close to $580; $110 of the total was labor. The markup on the part was astronomical! The same OEM part online was $110. I understand you have to make a profit A-Team, but roughly a $350 markup on the part is excessive to say the least. Keep up the good work Joe!!

I have had nothing but positive experiences with this company. Twice I’ve called them for what seemed like a big-deal type of issue, and both times it was a small thing that they fixed with no additional cost beyond the contracted visit. (First time it was my furnace: just a loose wire; second time it was my air handler: blown fuse and a broken drain pan plug: they told me exactly what parts I needed from the hardware store as a way to avoid what they’d charge for a follow up visit, and i fixed both myself for $20. In both cases they could have charged me huge amounts for an unnecessary repair and I wouldn’t have known the difference.) These people believe in keeping clients for the long term and it shows. My family has used A-Team our whole lives and know the family very well. They are honest and reliable! Father and son are fantastic as I am sure the others are as well. We would definitely recommend to anyone needing their service. They saved us a ton of money and they give you the accurate advice (no up-selling).
