Absolute Moving and Storage

I want to share my experience so others can make an informed decision before hiring this moving company. I was originally quoted $919 over the phone by Shawn, and I budgeted based on that number. When moving day arrived, Justin and Ricky showed up and immediately mentioned that the job had been underbid and that it really should have had three movers. Justin told me the total would likely be closer to $1,200, and I agreed to that amount. Justin and Ricky themselves were kind, respectful, and hardworking. They worked steadily throughout the day. We used Absolute to move our stuff out of the house and back in. We stored everything on site. They used the same care as if I was moving across the country. On time, super nice and fast and careful. I’ve already recommended them to a friend. Strong recommendation. I will definitely use this company again!

We used this company to move from NC to TN. If I could give them more than a 5 I would. I have unfortunately waited too long after moving to post this so I dont remember everyones names, we had Justin (i think, i am so sorry if i got the name wrong), Scott (packing only), Ricardo, Smiley, Mr Charles (packing only). They were so wonderful i wish we had had them for my husbands got orders to NC. They packed and labeled everything and any furniture they disassembled and put back together perfectly. Nothing was damaged and I mean NOTHING including my crystal cups and wine glasses. They went above and beyond with their service and I would highly recommend them to anyone I talk to.

We hired this company to move us from Atlanta to Hampstead, and unfortunately it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a service provider. They were supposed to arrive at our Atlanta apartment at 8 AM on Sunday. Instead, we got a call from the driver at 9:30 AM saying he had already reached his CDL driving limit and had to rest for 8 hours—confusing, since the company is only about 7 hours from our apartment. We were told to expect them by 5:30 PM, but after multiple “30–45 minute” delay calls, they didn’t arrive until 8:30 PM. That’s 12 hours late. Our apartment is only 700 sq ft, yet unloading and moving out somehow took until 1:30 AM. Then the movers had to drive overnight. Picked this place because it had all 5 star reviews. I’ve moved a ton because I’m military and I’ve never had this happen before. First I’ll say: This company is extremely professional. Everyone I’ve encountered was friendly and nice. However, the errors they made turned an already stressful situation even more stressful. First, they miscalculated my total and overcharged me $200. After discussing with the front desk, they immediately refunded it - but I didn’t need that added to my todo list. Additionally, they didn’t put my crib nor my bed together correctly. My crib they just completely left a screw off and just didn’t tell me. They pushed the crib up against the corner so that I wouldn’t see. That’s very dangerous. Luckily I noticed that the crib looked slanted and moved it to inspect
