Kevin did a fabulous job dealing with a whole range of issues that needed addressing in our house, all within the promised time-frame. Ace Handyman Services is not cheap, but for us it was well worth paying the premium for such professional service and consequent peace of mind.

Jesse did a great job for me, even completing a task the company said couldn't be done. He was very professional and considerate. So why only 3 stars? Because of my experience with the company. First, I asked for an estimate for changing 6 bulbs in ceiling lights and to repair a kitchen cabinet that wasn't closing completely. What I received was a very expensive estimate because they claimed they couldn't replace the bulbs but had to totally change out the fixtures. I declined that estimate and went ahead with an estimate to only repair the cabinet. Second, 3 business days later and I still haven't received the invoice for the completed work. My father always said that he trusted Ace Hardware and Kitty HAWK more than any other hardware store. And for 20 years, I have followed his device and I just needed to use a “Handyman“ from Ace by the name of Jessie and he was absolutely amazing if I could give him 10 stars I would. Showed up on time, had the correct materials, kept me informed the entire time he was doing what he was doing, I’m so pleased so so pleased with the result. If you live on the Outer Banks, you know that hiring a handyman can be hit or miss and I felt confident that Ace would back me up.

Ace Handyman did terrific work on a drywall/painting job on our condo in Nags Head. I was impressed with everyone involved. They were upfront about their estimate. Scheduling was easy and they kept me informed as the work proceeded. Jesse, in particular, was great. He called me with certain questions while working to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I certainly plan to use Ace Handyman again in the future!
