If I could give Don and his team from Ackerman Pump Co 10 stars I would. Our well pump went down one evening when I was away on business, I called him at 7 am the next day and had a return call from him within 5 minutes, he and his father showed up that same day to find out where the pump was as we had not been able to locate it prior to this. He then proceeded to trouble shoot the problem and determine that our pump had failed. I already knew this because I had one of my electricians go by earlier and run a test on the visible components. He put my wife, who was home at ease. Her words were - "He is a really nice person, I have a good feeling about him.". Ackerman Pump saved the day! Our Water stopped working & we have a well on property after days of having no water - and 3 different supposed "well specialists" coming. Everyone misdiagnosed the issue & wanted to charge us thousands for unnecessary new pump. I was lucky enough to find Ackerman Pump -they came right away, found the real problem & fixed in under an hour. Reasonable fair prices. When we came home we noticed the water pressure had dropped. We called Ackerman pump and he came over promptly and diagnosed the problem. Came back, pulled the well pump and replaced a fitting that was leaking. Also, replaced the tank (see photo) and added an additional shutoff value to make it easer to work on the tank and check valve in the future. Don’s price was fair, cleaned up the areas he worked and was very pleasant to work with. I would definitely use Don again.
