ADI Lock & Key

So this will be my first time receiving service from ADI, but the second time they impressed me. My previous interaction is listed on my reviews when they helped my partner with a late night sudden service request. As for me, I accidentally washed my keys. Multiple components were ruined, the battery bracket was warped, etc. My car has, as I learned later, an after market alarm and immobilizer that won't disengage without a functioning chip in the key. My car was bricked, able to turn on its electronics, but the engine would not engage. I tried to reach out to the company I got the current key from, but they were unhelpful and ultimately never returned my call. So my partner suggested, why not call ADI? I called ADI to fix my trunk on a toyota camery 2010 and they came out and gave me a whole new key with a chip, fixed my ignition, trunk, and other problems. I highly recommend them for quick and efficient service.

They did not disclose their mandatory service call fee for them to come over. Since I was in a rush to not miss my final exam (because the contractor arrived later than I was told), I agreed to pay the full sum of $489.29. The contractor told me the individual costs and proceeded to calculate them, but put his phone away as he was calculating the total. I felt like this was an incorrect amount, but I paid it anyway as I was in a hurry. After the key was made, I was told there would be an additional charge of $125 for every spare key that I wanted to rewrite to the new security code. They failed to disclose this piece of information prior to the service.
