We wanted to install a woodstove insert in our home because we have a very open living space that stays cold with our electric heat. We also knew there was expensive damage to our chimney so an insert was appealing - just bypass the chimney repair and still get the heat source. I called three different places. One had no availability for 4 months, one charged $249 just to consult, and then Advanced Chimney Consultants responded and came out within a week. They looked at the space, recommended a stove that fit what I wanted (great heat output plus the nice look with a glass face to see the flames). My fireplace pilot went out right before Thanksgiving and I was hosting! Brad and his team came out in less than 24 hours and got it working as well as checked all the other fireplaces too! I would highly recommend this company.

These guys are A1. Had them come out a year and a half ago to do some repairs at the bottom of the chimney. The chimney has never had a cap since we lived here and the water has began to pour in when it rains. Owner's handyman had no idea what he was doing so I called the pros out. They were here in just a few hours after I requested to see if someone could make it out before when they initially said for next Thursday. Sure enough they were willing to come out up a temporary fix until they can get back to stop the water from coming in. My wife and I are very thankful for this company and these guys. These folks are real pros. Brad is very knowledgeable, and the crew he dispatched to install a fresh air vent in the back of my masonry fireplace were like surgeons. When they left after a messy, hard job you didn't even know they had been there. Great local company, and Peggy was and is fantastic! Follow up to above review. Had trouble with chimney downdraft that caused smoke to enter house. Brad and his colleague figured out in ten minutes that chimney cap screen was clogged with creosote. New cap did the trick and we have had a fire in the fireplace all weekend without an issue! These folks are great. Honest and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.
