FRAUD ALERT A company that "does not" listen to what "the customer wants" but does what they "think the customer needs", regardless. You communicate with them and inform them that what "they think" and they have done is "correct", is the problem still exists and they messed the issue up more. They "never communicate" back with you verbally, but sends you a bill. Fact: Put in "incorrect gauge piping", installed a zone control valve that wasn't necessary nor needed to be replaced, configured air intake and exhaust incorrectly, saying it was fine. Bought a ton of pellets and ghosts me about the delivery date. Last time they claimed that they had truck problems finally delivered two weeks after they said they would. This time they just don't get a reason. Now I have to buy pellets from another place after I paid to have pellets delivered. Very bad customer service.

We just had a second superb experience with AEC Heating and Air Conditioning. After a less than pleasant time dealing with a company that previously installed our two split unit systems, we called AEC. We have two split units each with their own condenser. The first visit happened when the large unit stopped working. The second visit involved both units not working They answered our call within five minutes, were able to pull information from the manufacturer, and had someone at our door in a day. We recently had an incredibly awful and scary experience of waking up in the morning with our house full of fumes from our boiler and needed to get it looked at ASAP. I spoke with Deby at AEC and she was super friendly and helpful getting us put on the schedule that same day. Their technician, Chandler, showed up on time and was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable. He knew exactly what the problem was (our boiler settings were incorrectly done and there was so much soot collected that the fumes had no where to go but back into our house). He promptly got to work cleaning out the boiler and suggested that we replace our burner. We knew we needed to get the burner replaced at some point and had gotten a couple quotes from other place.
