First off- Mike and Peter are two people that I feel are closer to your new best friends than actual contractors. They are two of the kindest and most genuine people I've ever met doing this sort of work. I unexpectedly had to gut two shower inserts in a multi-family building. Mike, Peter, Nick, and Pederson were here literally the next day at 7am ready to go, and continued to be every day until we were done. I was never left guessing on schedule, or timeline. We could not be more happy with our decision to hire Affinity Construction. We had a small addition put on our home and not only was it completed ahead of schedule and on budget, we literally had no complaints from beginning to end. The actual work only took around 6 weeks but prior to that we had many months of hold ups with our town for various reasons. Michael and Peter were very helpful and understanding of the process and extremely patient while we worked out some issues with the town. Attention please! First thing first, Mike is tall and handsome:) Mike's workmanship and his service standards are nothing short of "tall and handsome". Our 5 year old air conditioner stopped working. We hired two techs from two different "highly respected" companies. In both cases, we were charged dispatch fees and were told we need to repair/change our Condenser for about $2900...A big chunk of money for a relatively young machine. We were sad... Until we were introduced to Mike! He showed up, on time, fully prepared, professionally equipped, and went at the problems right away. Our Condenser was leaking badly. A number of years ago, Affinity Construction re-built my garage and did a wonderful job. I have called on Peter Shepard for a number of issues that I have had with my multi family home over the years. His brother, Michael, had taken care of and fixed my air conditioning system for years. Due to this past winter storms, my house had some significant damage, Peter and his crew removed the existing vinyl siding and replaced the rotted wood that was found and re-sided with Hardie shingles. They also replaced some windows and remodeled a kitchen. Peter communicates frequently and the jobs were done on time and on budget.. Affinity Construction has done several projects for us, a total renovation of our kitchen and two bathrooms. The projects were executed in a professional manner and on schedule! Peter worked with us throughout the project to plan and calmly work through any unexpected hurdles with suppliers and tradesmen with excellent results. His crew are exceptional to work with!
