Air System Services

Good smaller HVAC business with great people working for them. They installed my Trane systems over 10 years ago and they were done expertly and have been extremely reliable. Just had them out for a capacitor replacement when it failed on a Sunday - they came the next afternoon and replaced it for a reasonable amount.

Charged me $370 for a 12 minute service call. Invoice said drain line clean and flush. No way you can clean line and flush a drain line in eight minutes. Company had good service in the past- shocking now...

Two years ago, Air System Services installed a gas log lighter in my fireplace. The installer did not measure correctly and the gas log was installed too high resulting in a grill resting directly on the gas log. The result was it broke, obviously. When I told this company their gas log broke in half, they were not interested and said it broke because of the way I was treating the gas log. Now I'm going to have to hire another company to correct their mistake. They did not volunteer to make their mistake right.

When we bought our house in Fuquay in 2007, our thermostats had the name of the company who installed the system. Air System Services. Over the next years, we had them out on occasion and always felt they were fair and knew what they were doing. When we reached end of life for our system a few years ago, we called Air System Services for our new air conditioner. We have never seen a need to deal with anyone else. We have never felt like a bill was padded and always believe our guys are working for us to keep our system performing at high levels. We recently had an issue that was a bit of ghost. It was like when you cannot get your car to make the noise it was making when the mechanic is looking at it. Our guy, Hugh did not give up and was persistent until he got to the bottom of  it. This

I have been a contract client of these guys ever since I built my house over a decade ago. They have always been professional and helpful on the annual spring and fall inspections. My AC unit finally bit the dust as it had a serious leak in it, and it did not make financial sense to keep my old one. During the hottest busiest time of the summer I had a complete new Trane system installed in about a week.
