Alex Cole Paving

We used Alex Cole for paving our driveway and it went very well. Tim was very professional and friendly, and he is very committed to learning what it is the customer wants and doing his best to provide that. They had a large crew, they did very detail-oriented work, and they got things done efficiently. I was present for the whole project - the prep, paving, etc. - and the crew was friendly, they answered all my questions as they came up, and you could tell that they take their work very seriously. Regarding price, I obtained several estimates from pavers in Tompkins County and beyond, and Alex Cole provided an extremely competitive price. Thanks, Tim, for a great paving experience, and I will be calling when it's time to seal the new driveway!

We're pretty happy with the job Alex Cole did on our new culvert install and the repave of our driveway. There's an area near our garage that, I feel, could have gone a little bit better, but all in all we're satisfied. They were pretty easy to work with in terms of setting up the job. This is a big deal, since some of the paving outfits in this area are run by goobers who don't seem to get the idea of how good customer service ties into good business practice... Based on other quotes we received from regional paving outfits, the quote was competitive. I would at least consider referring them to friends or call them again...

I worked with Tim Cornell who was able to do a very difficult excavation job that no other contractor was able to even give me a price for. He also got it done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company for any asphalt or excavation work needed!
