Alki Deck did an amazing job on our deck. They built us a 2 story deck with roof, spiral stairs, dry system and fully wrapped it all. The craftsmanship was amazing, Luke coordinated it all including craning in the spiral stairs over our house which was a sight to see. Luke is super helpful! I highly recommend working with him and Alki Decks! I reached out to Luke on a deck project to make some modifications – i.e. remove railings and insert stairs to lead into the yard. He was wonderful to talk me through the design and budget. His expertise and insights were helpful. In addition, I wanted to understand a rough idea of what my deck’s weight capacity could hold. I plan to throw a backyard wedding next Summer and want to know how many people could safely be on the deck. Luke was knowledgeable and gave his rough capacity estimate and referral to a structural engineer so I could officially confirm the deck’s capacity.

Luke and his team did an outstanding job replacing our old, rotting deck! Their initial response was quick and courteous, the quote was accurate, and they were able to schedule us in in good time. After pulling off the old deck material, they found supporting beams that were in bad shape and helped us understand the risk vs the additional cost to replace them. The crew who were at the house every day were great guys - and their workmanship and the finished project were excellent. We are the proud owners of a beautiful new deck and we love it!

We like our new deck. The workmanship is excellent. Every detail is well done. The crew was pleasant to work with. The project was scheduled for two weeks, and it was two weeks. I was a little frustrated at the beginning for the projected start date. The project got started a couple weeks later than hoped, but once the work started, everything went smoothly, and again, with excellent workmanship. I recommend Alki Deck Builders.

Alki Deck is top notch. My deck is in the front of the house and instead of a standard deck I wanted a more porch like appearance. In addition to superior craftsmanship and customer service, Luke gave me excellent advice on design and color of material to achieve that porch vibe. Here are before and after pictures. I love it!
