Allegro Fencing Center

My daughter started with Allegro at the age of 7 and has been with Allegro now for 2 years. She has had tremendous growth under all the coaches, especially Coach Brian. Highly recommend this fencing club and all the knowledgeable and highly skilled coaches!

Boris and Misha have taught both of my children fencing. They are wonderful coaches with hearts of GOLD. Both Boris and Misha helped my oldest daughter when she was recruited for College Fencing. Her college fencing coaches have commented to me how well trained in fencing my daughter is. Now my youngest is pursuing the same as her older sister because she watched her have a wonderful journey with these coaches. One of the highlights through her fencing education was when Boris traveled with her to Europe to attend an international tournament. He has become a part of our family and I am so happy that he has helped us with this journey.

We have been fencing at Allegro for over 5 years now. We started as youths, and are now competitive highschool fencers. The advanced classes help you improve your techniques and the conditioning class helps you become stronger overall. The coaches are nice and encouraging, and push us to reach our potential.

I am a student that has been at Allegro for 2 years. The coaches are very nice and they know what they are doing. I have made a lot of friends and we have a lot of fun here. The upgrades have made me like the club even better than before. I can not wait for many more years at Allegro.

A couple years ago I called initially to start there for SABRE classes and was instructed to arrive there for a trial class. I was greeted instead by the Epee coach. He had told me to "forget sabre" and taught me epee instead. I continued there for at least 2 years and had made no progress due to the coach's unprofessionalism and laziness. At my time coming to this fencing club I had not been offered a chance to go to any competitions or informed of how I could improve. The facility was mediocre and equipment broke often. The people who went there at the time I took classes were very nice and helped me improve more than the actual coach who had a terrible temper and took smoking breaks often. I now go to LIFC which has better facilities, opportunities to go to competitions, and I have impr
