Allen's Family Heating & Cooling

Had a great experience with Allen's Family H&C. They came to fix my boiler and were successful in less than 3 hours. They were $2600 less than the other company that begins with and A and ends with a son. The technician was knowledgeable and honest. He didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need like a service membership. I will definitely call them for my next boiler needs.

This past week I had Allen's Family Heating & Cooling replace my central air unit and out in a few furnace. We switched from oil to propane with the new (more) efficient systems they have now and let me tell you, the process was seamless! From making the call, to quick response and having someone come check the issues... to then on the day of the install having the team of Tim, Jake and Jesse come and remove the old system and put in the new... just amazing. Even seeing them work in such an organized and clean fashion was cool to see. not only did they install the new system, but they disassembled, the old AC unit, moved the new unit to the other side of the house (by request) - removed the oil tank, installed all the new piping for the propane, were all kind, courteous, and super respect

This company deserves a higher rating than just five stars. I have never seen an operation that works so quickly and as well as this company. The first crew shows up, and then the 2nd crew shows up, and the first crew goes to another job. Finally, 1st crew comes and helps finalize the job. I have some photos of before and after. I have them on my contact list of HVAC repair and never call another company again.

I would not recommend this business. I was having issues with my furnace and the temperature in my home. I called them, and while they were quick to respond and arrived within a few hours, I have to give them some credit for that. However, once the technician arrived and took a quick look at my older furnace, he immediately suggested I needed a new one for $6000. He also replaced my dial thermostat with a digital one before leaving. Within 48 hours, I was dealing with the same issue, where the temperature in my house was much higher than what I had set it to. I emailed them about the problem but didn’t hear back, so I called a couple of hours later. I spoke with Eric, who said he’d need to consult with the technician and would call me back. It’s been a while, but I had them replace my old furnace, put in a water heater for my upstairs apartment, install a central air conditioning unit and all went perfectly well and everything is working wonderfully. Also had to have my thermostat replaced. no problem. friendly and very reasonably price. I will always call this company for any work of this type.
