Super long winded story on my AC issue but worth the read. I called Florida Breeze because my system was freezing and the house wasn’t getting cold. They came out and looked at the inside. I told them where it was freezing from, they indicated it was the TXV valve. He went outside did some tests and told me, that it’s $400 for the labor to replace the part and if they can’t compound the existing Freon then it’s $85/lb of Freon. Basically $1300 for the job. They then charged me $120 for the in home inspection. I asked the Fl Breeze guy how much just the part was and he replied $900, and then he explained why the warranty was so important. Aloha Air was very helpful in diagnosing and treating my AC needs. They were super responsive, professional, honest, informative and reasonable in price. I hope to never have AC issues again but I feel very confident in their ability to do a great job fixing any problems I have. Will 100% use them in the future should the need arise!
