American Deck & Patio

We've had our deck for about a year and we LOVE it!! The construction was done quickly and extremely professionally. The guys who built the deck cleaned up after themselves and we extremely friendly. The planning process was done by the owner of the company who came to our home, took exact measurements and drew the plans right there on our kitchen table. We knew exactly what it would look like before we agreed to sign the contract. After about a year, we're still extremely happy with our deck. Highly recommend using American Deck & Patio.

American Deck and Patio in Baltimore County did a fabulous job installing my deck, stairs, and patio. The craftsmanship and materials are top notch. Everything is sturdy and solid as a rock. I can be quite picky, Andy worked with me on every little detail. Their crew was efficient, polite, and built the most beautiful outdoor space for me. I had a challenging project that took me in multiple directions. The upper level of my 40 year old deck had been covered with a canvas awning. Although it served a purpose, it was time to replace it, and I was looking for an option that would provide a permanent cover without blocking too much light from my attached family room in the winter. I investigated numerous options, including louvered pergolas, retractable awnings and permanent awnings. One of my consultations was with Dave Lombardo of American Deck & Patio. He had an almost immediate vision that ended up being perfect! His team, including Bill and Ronis, collaborated, and involved me in their ideas throughout the planning and construction. American Deck and Patio built a major addition to our house (40' x 14'), open deck and sunroom in Howard County, MD. They did an amazing job at all steps, from the design to the schedule, and communicated well along the way. There were no surprises! We appreciated the expertise of the team, their attention to detail, and their honesty. Overall it was an amazing experience for us, and we spend most of every day in our new space. American Deck once again came through. From concept to completion, Andy Lombardo and his team made everything happen like clockwork. The permit and inspection process was seamless, and we laud American Deck for working during some of the coldest months of the winter. The original deck was built in 2017 -- also by American Deck -- and was engineered to support a possible addition of a porch/sunroom at a later date. When we made the decision to add the porch with Sunspace vinyl windows, we wanted as much material re-use as possible and Andy came up with a unique design that allowed a "notch-out" in one corner of the new structure to eliminate the need for constructing a "landing" at the top of the stairs to meet Howard County code requirements.
