We had 2 HVAC system failures requiring replacement immediately due to the extremely cold weather we were experiencing in the Hiawassee area. Contacted a few companies who were recommended by other veterans and decided to go with American Heating and Air Conditioning. Sam and Jake did an outstanding job installing our new heating/air conditioning system. They were professional, efficient, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The quality of their work and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this company.

Sam and his crew are TOP NOTCH. From Randy that took the call, to Sam showing up quickly and providing much needed insight as well as a fairly priced quote and all the way through installation of our new unit. All done within a 3 day window from my first call. This is an A++++ company. I would recommend to anyone in need of some HVAC work done.

American Heating installed a replacement 100K furnace yesterday (Mar 4, 2026) The 2 man team were very professional. Step one was to prepare access and move items. All new furnace prep work was done outside. They took great care removing the old unit and preparing the area for the new. They started this process at 9am and by 2pm everything was finished and tested. I was very pleased with these two intallers, one was the owner of the company.

Very pleased with their services. They recently replaced my system and everything was completed as expected. Great communication and pricing was reasonable and in line with expectations. They were up front, transparent and efficient. Highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

I called for service, after my A/C stopped working the night before. They were able to come out the same day I called. Communication was wonderful. I received a text when Technician was on his way. Dennis fixed problem quickly and the A/C was back up and running on the hottest day of the year. Dennis even installed my new smart thermostat and didn’t charge me. I’m Very happy with the service I received from American Heating & Air. I want to add this due to my choice below on ‘overpriced’. It is of NO FAULT of American Heating & Air that the price of the Capacitor was expensive. The new Tariffs is the reason the customer has to pay more. The Service fee was very reasonable at $100.
