American Leak Detection of South Bay and Long Beach

My home owner's insurance company hired this company to do an inspection for a sewer line leak. The plumber came to my home unprepared and unaware of the reason for the visit. He did not bring a video camera to do a sewer line inspection. This company then charge my insurance company for services that were not performed. They charged for an electronic leak detection, but only performed 1. a static water pressure test using a $10 tool available from home depot and 2. a visual inspection. Before I informed the plumber was that he was hired by the insurance company he told me that he would perform the inspection for free. This complimentary service is consistent with many other plumbing companies who come to a home for a diagnosis in order to prepare an estimate for the work to be done. Once

DON'T USE. Found a leak under my patio slab while cutting openings for patio cover footings. A plumber told me to call this company because the leak may be coming from my pool since the opening near the pool was filling with water. I called them, told them the problem, and agreed to the two-hour minimum and additional cost if special equipment was needed. Two guys showed up (good guys); however, they were only able to check the irrigation and house plumbing. Took them 20 minutes to say those weren't the problem and they weren't able to check the pool because that was beyond their capabilities (even though the side of their van lists pools). They have an employee by name of Micheal Redlark which is a disrespectful employee and is a scheme when it comes to doing bizz. My customer will also leave a review reguarding the sitiuation his wife and him had with this guy. Also mentioned a guy by name of name of name of Glen who runs this branch that wont do anything to him for all that hes does. He states hes needed and only so much they will doto him. WOWVERY DISSAPPIONTING

The technician are really helpful. They aren't just trying to pull a fast one over customer Their supervisor Glenn, is a good guy, and gave tips on my pool .
