Terrible company guy on the phone was a complete jerk. I don’t know why, but the building contacted this company for work in the building that concerned my unit which I own and I’m on the board when I called to ask how much the service was and what they were going to do. He told me that he doesn’t need to talk to me and they will tell us when they get there. When I said no, you’re not coming until I get a price he called back and told me $850 which is 300 more than the other company that we used in the past for the exact same service.Not only that they were going to do it from the roof and they wouldn’t have even found the problem since they weren’t doing it from the ground. Had them come out for a leak, they replaced a cartridge. They leave and my handle is extremely loose. Then the handle won’t turn on and the water doesn’t come out. I had them come out and all they said was oh you need a new handle. They haven’t even called me like they said they would, to fix. I had another plumbing company come out and they said they definitely didn’t put it on correctly and left scrap in there. So I wouldn’t use this company ever again since they can’t even communicate to the customer or fix something they did. 10 out of 10 do it recommend.

I needed an old Valley shower handle replacement that Home Depot didn't have. They had it and were pretty knowledgeable. If you like to DIY or need help with plumbing they're more helpful than Home Depot

The nightmare with American Plumbing began on 9/16/24 and finally able to end it yesterday, 6/3/25. We needed a new hot water heater installed in our rental condo. Our landlord contacted Chris at American Plumbing and ordered a 30 gallon water heater to be installed. Our permit was required by both our condo association and the city of Wilton Manors.our landlord lives out of the country so I was involved in getting paperwork to the owner for signatures and back to American Plumbing. This was critical to have this completed ASAP as we had been without hot water. The owner sent an email to Chris with what was needed and asked to have me as the point of contact sine he resided out of the US. American Plumbing in Plantation did outstanding work at my home this afternoon using a jetter to unclog two of our toilets after a traditional snake did not work. The repair work was done under an hour and the two plumbers who came to do the work were professional, nice and gave me a fair price. Highly recommended!
