American Turf Landscaping and Irrigation

This crew did some significant snow / ice removal on our block. We didn't hire them directly but interacted and found them to be helpful, courteous, and responsive. They did good work in a short amount of time.

I have been going to American Turf for years and appreciate the service and quality product. I recently visited to purchase some sod and they are always accommodating and there is never a long wait.

Employee named Anna that works for American Turf Landscaping & Irrigation displayed the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I would ever recommend this company of any type of work. Employee yelled and told me to "never call them again for anything". They attempted to charge me for a service I didn't ask for or know anything about do to previous owners who utilized their services.

Not sure who these guys are and have never used them, but they send scam-like mass mail addressed to Current Resident that states "Someone must be home on scheduled date" or you will be billed a $50 "return trip fee". Most people won't be fooled but shame on them for trying! Highly unprofessional and probably reportable to the MD Attorney General.

The customer service was good, but I paid $150 for DELIVERY to Crofton, MD from Davidsonville. That seems ridiculous. Then, upon arrival, the sod was varying quality. I was very disappointed. I was only replacing 300 sq ft of grass at my townhouse. I elected to use a small business, but maybe next time I will use Home Depot who charges $79. I am almost certain had i used Home Depot, I would have received a higher quality product one that is more consistent.It looked to me like some of this stuff was scraps that your landscaper would reject and destroy your main source of revenue. Some were wider than others some were tapered and other were missing portions as if some took a bite out of a square sandwich.
