American Woodmark Corporation

Looks like I will be just another '1' rating on the cabinets. I spent 23K on an American Woodmark kitchen only to get multiple shipments of scratched, broken, smashed cabinets and parts. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT buy American Woodmark. The issues have been going on for months and they could care less. Whomever is running this company should be fired (CEO and COO). It is absolutely crazy to see the poor shipping materials. It doesn't take a brain to see it isn't even close to adequate. Then, also issues with QA at factory and design. It is completely dumbfounding. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!

We Pick Up here weekly. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Our Load is ready before schedule. Overnight parking is available and they have 1 private bathroom.

Ordered a new kitchen through home dept. We had 50 plus boxes delivered and over 12 had damaged items. The process to get new items was ridiculous and slow. My contractor had to install damaged pieces and then go back and replace as everyone was on a time frame. Then contractor let me know we didn't have enough kickplates, called the company and they wouldn't help. Said I need to go through home depot instead of simply sending me the strip. The entire process with this company has been ridiculous.. order through home depot, delivered by a completely different company.. save yourself the aggravation and go to a local cabinet place

4 out of 16 cabinets arrived damaged. Company rep very friendly as he said he couldn’t promise a quick turn around to address the issue. Suggested we call back the next day to resolve the issue, and we did - and were told the department we needed to speak to did not work on weekends. Still no answer, and construction is supposed to start in two days. Update - Replacements arrived today, also damaged. Additional Update: We are 7 weeks into a 3 week renovation, because the American woodmark cabinets we ordered through this Home Depot have yet to send us a complete set of cabinets that are not damaged. We've had their representatives and representatives from American Woodmark in our home to measure, and today they still sent us the wrong size door. At this point, our contractor can't come

Received cabinets. Cabinets were fine except one door was dented on the corner and one shelf doesn't slide because the rollers are broken. We tried calling multiple times and the constant response is we are waiting for the ticket to be approved. This has been going on for months. And the dealer where we purchased the cabinets went out of business. Terrible customer service and impossible to receive parts.
