I found Amp'd Energy Solutions from Tesla's website under approved installers. I chose them over a couple other companies based on price and reviews on Google. I absolutely made the correct choice. Kristian helped me calculate the Powerwall system I needed and coordinated the installation around my schedule. Both he and Rob did a superb job of installing the system. Their attention to detail is top notch. I really appreciated the time they took to make sure it was a flawless setup and looked excellent. They answered all of my questions and were super friendly. It is refreshing to hire professionals like them who take pride in their work and deliver an excellent product. I highly recommend Amp'd Energy Solutions and would give them 6 stars if I could.

This installation was done in a 120-year old solid stone house with a 16” thick poured concrete basement. The formerly used garage is built outside the original thick exterior walls of the house. As you can see from the basement picture a single Powerwall was installed with space for additional to be added later. The slate roof of the house and tight suburban lot leave no room for solar on the property so the Powerwalls are charged from the grid. They were selected over a generator for backup to provide uninterrupted power during brief but frequent outages. The external charger port location was selected to give access to the EV from the back porch handrail for the 80-year-old owner. Challenging but practical, neat and convenient install.

This team is the best I’ve worked with. Awesome service from Chris in sales followed by an incredible install done by a different gentlemen also named Chris and his coworker, Rob. Ampd gave us the best price vs 3 other places we called. The team was also able to give me an accurate estimate for a Tesla install over the phone. One place wanted to do trenching and this whole mess of a project. Chris and the team actually listened to what we wanted and it turned out incredible. Even the inspectors from our township were impressed with the work. The teams work van looked cleaner then the new Tesla we just bought with 100miles on it. They even set up a nice work area in my garage and cleaned everything up at the end (would have had no idea they were cutting pvc and custom fitting parts) the

Rob installed my Tesla charger, a whole-home surge protector, and a load-shed module. He’s a one-man operation, and he put in the time to make sure everything was done right. He was professional, friendly, and meticulous throughout. The work turned out great, highly recommended!
